OSHA Training Course Catalog

This course is intended for employees who operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks. The training focuses on safe operation, equipment inspections, and hazard recognition. Employees will go through a performance evaluation and proficiency test.

Provides the tools necessary to train on how to operate your powered industrial truck in a safe, effective, and responsible manner and issue certifications in-house.

Explains the potential dangers and safe work practices when working near forklifts or powered industrial trucks.

Provides a general overview of characteristics of gases, gas hazards, and what equipment is necessary for monitoring and personal protection.

Review OSHA's Grain Handling Standard requirements for the control of grain dust fires and explosions, and other safety hazards associated with grain handling facilities.

Reviews the elements of the hazard communication standard including how read Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), manufacturer labeling, and pictograms, in order to identify hazards prior to starting the job, how to properly handle chemicals, and what PPE to wear.

Provides a general overview of HAZWOPER hazards and response as chemicals are handled and transported.

This specialty training ranging from 8-40 hours prepares employees for hazardous material exposure and handling. An employee may need to train employees beyond the 40 or 24 hour minimum set by the standard depending on job functions and responsibilities.

Understand when hearing protection should be worn, the different methods of controls, and how to properly insert ear plugs to make them effective.

Focuses on the signs and symptoms of heat stress, exhaustion, and stroke, as well as safe work practices and prevention methods.

Explains what hexavalent chromium is, including when and how you can be exposed to it, exposure control methods, safe operating procedures, and necessary PPE.
