What Safety Training is Required?
Frequently Asked Questions
We recommend providing training annually, or at a minimum every 3 years. Retraining is required if there’s a change in equipment, a workplace incident, or inadequate worker knowledge or performance.
All types of lifts offer easy access to working at elevated heights. Scissor lifts offer vertical movement with a larger platform and allow for heavier loads. Aerial lifts allow for both vertical and horizontal movement giving better access. Boom lifts, also known as man lifts or cherry pickers, are a type of aerial lift.
