Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) Training

LOTO training gives the people who service your machines a shared understanding of how to control hazardous energy during servicing and maintenance. When everyone knows their role and respects a lock, equipment stays safely shut down until the work is done. Production is never so urgent that a job can't be done safely.

What You'll Learn

This course walks your team through the essentials of lockout/tagout, from the roles each person plays to the procedure for taking equipment safely out of service. We'll cover:

Roles and When LOTO Is Applied

What Safety Training is Required?

Frequently Asked Questions

No. There is no certification under OSHA's lockout/tagout standard. OSHA does require that training is conducted for those performing service or maintenance work on machinery with the potential for unexpected energization.
