The primary federal rules are found in OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart N (Materials Handling and Storage), 29 CFR 1926 Subpart CC (Cranes and Derricks in Construction), and 29 CFR 1926.251 (Materials Handling). We build the training around the requirements that apply to your equipment and operations.

OSHA doesn't set a fixed calendar interval for refresher training, but we recommend annual training. Retraining is required when an operator is involved in an incident, is seen working unsafely, moves to a different type of crane, or when an evaluation shows it's needed.
