There are a range of heat illnesses that can affect anyone, regardless of age or physical condition. Whether you’re working outside on a hot day, or inside in a heat-producing area, heat-related illnesses could affect you. Why Heat Illness Safety Training?
OSHA’s National Emphasis Program (NEP) is geared towards protecting workers from heat risks by proactively targeting specific industries when the National Weather Service issues a heat warning or advisory of 80°F or higher. It important to conduct Heat Illness training for your employees, establish a written program, and make sure you’re providing the necessary controls to protect your team!
