Know the Hazards!

Scissor lifts are a frequently used piece of mobile equipment allowing employees to safely work at elevated heights. You may have seen these on construction sites, in manufacturing and distribution centers, and many other industries. While they are very useful, they are also heavy equipment and operators must be fully trained on safe operation and hazards to be aware of.

Why Scissor Lift Training?

The most frequent causes of recent Scissor Lift accidents were due to a lack of addressing fall protection, stabilization, and positioning issues. In this module, we’ll take a look at what specific hazards scissor lifts pose, how to operate them safely, and what OSHA requires.
