Accidents are Never Planned

Accidents can occur at any time, anywhere, and to anyone. By definition, an accident is any uncontrolled or unplanned release of energy that causes or contributes to an illness, injury, death, or even property/equipment damage. All accidents have a cause and effect and it’s important to determine the root cause to avoid future incidents. The majority of workplace accidents can be prevented through adequate training, awareness, hazard identification and abatement of those hazardous acts or conditions.
