Chainsaw Safety Awareness Training

It’s no secret that performing work with chainsaws is a very dangerous task, which means that all necessary safety precautions must be taken. Some common hazards are cutting yourself, kick-back, noise, vibrations, eye injury, the chains derail/break, head injuries, back injuries, crushing under falling tree and many other hazards as well.

In this general awareness training, discover the keys to operating this tool safely, being knowledgeable about common hazards, understand what Personal Protective Equipment to wear, and know what fuel container requirements are.

Attendees should already know how to operate a chainsaw before taking this class. General awareness safety training will be provided.

What Would OSHA Say?

OSHA wants to see employers provide training to employees on any hazards they may face on the job that could cause potential injuries or illnesses. Lancaster Safety can provide the proper training about potential hazards and possible solutions associated with chainsaws.
