What We’ll Cover…

This training applies to slings used in conjunction with other material handling equipment for the movement of material. Some of the common types of slings we’ll cover are those made from alloy steel chain, wire rope, and synthetic web such as nylon, polyester, and polypropylene.

Why Rigging Material Training?

This module will familiarize you with OSHA’s rigging material handling safety requirements and procedures. This awareness training, coupled with your workplace specific rigging material handling safety instructions and training, can assist you and your co-workers in performing your assigned tasks safely.
