OSHA requires many types of recordkeeping for most businesses with more than 10 employees on average during a calendar year.

Here’s is a quick summary of the yearly OSHA requirement for posting the 300A Form and key resources to comply.

  • The OSHA Form 301 is a detailed record of a single recordable workplace related injury or illness incident.
  • The OSHA 300 Form is a log of all workplace related injuries and fatalities. In other words, a log of all Form 301 incidents.
  • The OSHA 300A Form is a summary of Form 300 to enable employees to quickly see injury and illness statistics for their establishment.

The OSHA 300A Form must be visibly posted from February 1 through April 30 at your establishment where notices for employees are typically posted, even if you have had zero recordable incidents.
