What is National Safety Month?

Each year, the National Safety Council (NSC) has observed June as a month to raise awareness for safety. As Safety & Health Professionals, we strongly support and share the same mission as the NSC and are providing our own set of materials, resources, and information. We are not sponsored or affiliated with the National Safety Council except for being members ourselves. Our sole purpose is to promote safety by sharing resources and other helpful tips.

How to Participate

What’s great about National Safety Month is that it is easy to participate and you can get involved as much or as little as you want. Whatever you decide to do, it will have a positive impact. Use the resources provided by Lancaster Safety to spread safety awareness around your workplace.

Promote Your Participation

There are a lot of ways to participate in National Safety Month; if you choose to join in, promote your efforts! Show the public that you care about your employees, and their safety, by using the social media kit provided by the National Safety Council. Supporting safety online can show prospective hires what it is like to work with you. It also reinforces your commitment to your employees and their families.
